Man on Fire & the Woman from Venus

A Chat-Trilogy

What will this be?

Man on Fire & the Woman from Venus
is a planned Novel-Trilogy.

You can read it here for free – well, that is until I’m discovered as the new queen of GenX Romance. Because of course the whole thing has total potential to become a million bestseller and get at least three seasons on Netflix! 😉

What is the story about?

Midlife crisis, a femme fatale, a mysterious eloquent stranger and the anonymity of a chat.

The question at the end is:
“How much reality can fiction take?”

Man on Fire & the Woman from Venus

A (love?) story from the infinite vastness of the internet.

Gekko and Leeloo get to know each other in a small social media group for movie freaks. They live 10,000 kilometers apart. Both are stuck in marriages that are no longer working properly, but they don’t want to end them for several reasons. A secret online flirtation is supposed to help bring a little color back into their lives. But with stars, chess and sex involved, the whole thing becomes more and more of a journey to themselves. But also to each other?
What sounds super dramatic here is actually surprisingly funny in places. But also – well – totally Rosamunde Pilcher-like. But it all happened sort of exactly like that. Hey, I can see your crossed fingers behind your back!
Oh right, my conscience has decided to join in, which doesn’t make the story any less complicated.

I’ve been publishing the first book on this blog as a live draft since the end of August 2024. This means that during the writing process, changes are constantly being made to previously published chapters, chapter titles and book covers. Chapters that are already available are underlined in the table of contents and linked directly:

ONE.
Cybersex from
outer Space

01 Prologue-ish

TWO.
Peter Pan lives
far far away

THREE.
Neverland
burned down

Because every story needs a soundtrack!

Music was a very important element right from the start. So if this amazing story is ever turned into a movie, the soundtrack is a given. Until then, here’s the right mood music for you to read and look forward to new chapters:
